Dr. Petrov was exceptional from our first appointment. He made sure that every test was run and reviewed before my surgery. He or his wonderful Nurse Practitioner. Eloise kept me informed and gave me a contact number so that if I had questions I would not be on hold to get my answers. Because of unseen complications, I had to go back to the hospital, Dr. Petrov was there every day for me. I highly recommend him if you need any thoracic surger.

Dr. Petrov and the thoracic surgical team at UTMB performed two procedures on me to correct a large hiatal hernia and prevent further acid reflux that had been present for several years. The procedures went smoothly and without complications. I have experienced no pain since my release from UTMB Clear Lake campus hospital. I have not had a recurrence of acid reflux. I was referred to Dr. Petrov after I was diagnosed with lung cancer. After several meetings answering all our questions and concerns; we were totally confident of his abilities and planned surgery. That was 6 months ago. Today we are totally satisfied with the surgery results and excellent service. Thank you Dr. Petrov for being the perfect doctor for me.
