Wish i could give a review lower. April i very rude & uses fear mongering to scare animal owners into thinking their pet is dying. On the phone with her she said I dont understand how exotic vets work and that I cant just drop my rabbit whenever and that i need to pay the deposit (I am aware how exotic vets work as I used to go to the avian & exotic vet in broward). I would like to say that Doctor April is a very pleasant Doctor to work with. I called her about my Guinea pig Kody who was found to have a stone in his bladder by another doctor. Let me just say two other doctors failed my baby. Doctor April rushed in with much love and sympathy for my situation. She told me to immediately bring him in. She was on her way home turned back to her office called her staff in and waited for me to arrive with Kody. Mind you she spoke to me and kept me calm on the way there. I personally didn’t go here due to the interaction I had with them, I felt the conversations were rushed & rude. I got a call back over an hour later, twice asking for a $500 deposit before even seeing my bearded dragon. I didn’t even bother calling back & went to another exotic vet for 2x less than what they were asking even before any treatment. I will not recommend them to anyone. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, I’m a good genuine person looking out for others.
