Having grown up in Mexico and tasted a wide range of regional cuisines in the many years that I have visited the country, I consider myself pretty particular about the quality of good "little whims", a Mexican's way of referring to snack food typically savored outside the home and what typically (and erroneously) passes for as home style "Mexican food" in this country.
