Bread too hard
Visiting St Louis & while have eaten in The Hill district numerous times, never visited Missouri Baking. While a bit hectic as you enter - make sure to pull a number tab, the line moved quickly. Wanted to get one of almost everything but settled for about a dozen items. Didn't know the proper names of what we ordered - just saw what looked good & pointed. However, the round coconut cakes are beyond delicious. Will definitely stop by on next visit to the area.
My daughter was in labor and seriously wanted cannoli so did my wife. We live 2 and a half hours away from st. Louis. I Googled cannolis and this place came up. Close to the hospital stopped in early morning to get a couple. Told the amazing lady at the counter what I was there for. This beautiful woman would not accept my money her family has ran the bakery for 100 years she said a new life was an amazing way to start the day. Wonderful little bakery with so many sweet treats to choose from. We stopped by recently and got several chocolate chip cannolis & some New York cheesecake. So good! And the service was terrific. Everyone working in there seemed so nice & helpful. Highly recommend stopping by if you're visiting The Hill in STL.
