I decided to try Express Smog Check in Beaumont, CA recently and I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the results and my overall experience. When I arrived, I found a man on duty who was asleep at his desk. He appeared to be from India, and he spoke very poor English. I requested a smog test for my car, and he informed me it would cost $59.99 and that a reinspection would be free if my car failed. I pulled up. Kindly greeted. Customer service was great. Very hospitable and even entertained my daughter's song about how we don't interrupt while I wrangled my one year old in the waiting area.
