Installation was not right from the beginning rollup was not closing all the way and would roll back out on its own Constant calls to company to be treated with disrespect since i am a woman home owner when i question it, they told me i was visually off and treated me as a dumb blond Never returned calls or came back out to fix problem Still to this day no response
Poor customer service and responded to me with a nasty phone call not liking my review. Told, they will not honor my 15 year warranty only having the awning for 9 years.
The worst sales experience I have had as a homeowner. The entire organization is inept and disorganized. The owner's son, ***** made an in-person sales presentation that was not honored. He was backed up by his father, the founder, and owner by a disingenuous denial of the price offered. Horrible customer service. If you don’t want aggravation & repair expenses, DO NOT USE Rollup! We paid $10,000 in 2015 for hurricane shutters. We have been waiting 4 months for Rollup to fix one that had a motor blow. Today they came & left without fixing it. To add insult to injury, another shutter that was working perfectly before they showed up is now not working. We apologize for any delay in service. Due to COVID-19 , we were unable to open until June 1, 2020 as mandated by NYS. The shutters that were installed had 4 separate switch motors and you hired the electrician that we recommended (he is not on our staff, he is his own company) to change to remote use. Having 4 motors on one remote is not ideal and caused the motors to short after 6 years of use. This was an electrical issue that caused the motor to short, the shutters themselves are fine. In April of 2000 we purchased a Rollup Awning. We also have an electric opener. This addition to our deck has been such an asset. It keeps the sun off on hot days an allows us to eat outdoors in the rain. We love it. It has not faded and the frame is still strong. We were told to remove the fringe in the winter and we do.
