Ordered Mongolian Beef. When the food came out, I could smell the stench coming off of it. It smelled and tasted like the wok was way too hot and the oil used to cook it was burnt. Told my server and was still expected to pay for it. She said "You order, so you pay". Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!
Wife and I recently moved to the Urbandale/Grimes area. Was looking for a new local place to try and we stumbled upon Rolling Wok in Grimes. To be completely honest, our first order wasn't really up to par and we assumed there was maybe somebody new in the kitchen. I reached out on Facebook to explain that the food was not prepared as expected. The staff member I spoke to was responsive and respectful regarding the order. Don’t recall how or why we ended up here but WOW! Food was SO GOOD! Prices were fair. The lady working there was SUPER nice. And did I mention the food AMAZING!?!
