I just had to say love love this place, when the hurricane destroyed everything it was like loosing something very near to my family and friends we had been going to here for at least the past 10 years every year in June I miss it so much now we go around FL trying to find something close to that wonderful feeling !!
Way calmer than coquina beach, I recommend it, a very nice spot
1/14/25. Unfortunately the cottages and all accessories have been demolished due to Hurricane Helene. There is nothing left standing on this parcel. I doubt that the cottages will be rebuilt. Property is up for sale if you are interested. If this review was helpful please give it a thumbs up
Wonderful! If you’re looking for a full service resort, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for peaceful Old Florida accommodation, you’ve found it! There are just 8 individual cottages located at the very quiet end of Longboat Key Island. I stayed for a week in early September and the beach was practically deserted - most days I met just two or three people all day.
