Rolling Barge solved a lingering problem where my property was divided by a slow flowing creek on a good day and a raging river on a bad day. Their 48 x 6 foot bridge was reasonably priced, engineered to do the job, precisely made, simple detailed instructions and videos, and superb customer service - leading to mission accomplished. We are so happy with our Rolling Barge bridge! Eight years ago we replaced the bridge that "came with" our farm with another wooden bridge and it only lasted eight years. We decided the investment in this bridge kit would be well worth never having to replace our bridge again in our lifetime. It was reasonable for an, out of shape, middle aged couple to build in a few weekends. We are thrilled with the results! We purchased the 36' light duty kit for our horses and ATVs to be able to cross our creek.
The dock kits are fantastic. The result is rock solid and remarkably light for how big it is which makes moving it much easier than any of the alternatives. I am so stoked that this company exists. Great work! The finished barge is very stable and only draws a few inches of water. Overall excellent.
Well that was quite the largest kit we've ever put together - a 26 foot bridge! What an amazing experience to watch it come together. Great support with questions answered in just a couple hours. And our 1400 pound vehicle goes over it without a single groan. One hint: we needed name brand drill and screwdriver bits to secure the 2x8 decking.
The bridge kit was efficiently packaged and clearly marked. The instructions were clear and the bridge assembled without unreasonable difficulty. The completed bridge is stout and sturdy.
