I greatly prefer this shop to the snobby fixters and poor service by the BART station, especially for small consumables like tubes. The staff is nice. The prices seem... optimistic considering where they are located. Imagine my surprise when they wanted $40 for a "vintage" (read: old junk) 3-speed wheel. I assumed they meant it was serviced, but no such luck. I chuckled when they started offering tallbikes out front.
