I must say, I was skeptical but am now thoroughly impressed by the depth of Grant’s ability and knowledge. At 17 weeks pregnant, I went to him with severe and intractable pain in my sacro-iliac joint and tailbone. After only one session, I felt immediate and lasting relief. He correctly identified and worked on a tailbone injury I had around 8 years ago that I had since forgotten about. His treatment *hurt* but I knew it was going to help in the long run. Rolfing is an intense therapy as opposed to a simple massage that you get on any street corner. When I first went to Grant, I wasn't sure I would be able to endure the full course, but I stuck with it and was amazed with what he accomplished. The feeling of looseness and balance that I got made me realize how tight my body had been before. As long as you actually take the time to understand what you are in for, I heartily recommend Grant for Rolfing. He's a master!
I have been a client of Grant's since 1998 for regular monthly rolfing treatments. This is so despite the fact that I live in South Bay while his service is in Costa Mesa, a good 45 min drive each way on a good day. Grant has always been professional, attentive, and flexible. And frankly, his service has played an integral part in helping me manage the pain associated with muscular tension and posture related issues.
