Dr Rollendeli performed a bowel resection on me less than a week ago due to an obstruction with ibd. He and his team were compassionate and followed up often during the recovery period in the hospital. He came in highly recommended by my GI due to his extensive experience and it was definitely apparent! The only complaint I have was the constantly changing times for the surgery. I was waiting a long time in pre op.
He was in and out in 2 minutes. He was rude. Would not recommend.
On July 13, 2121 I had surgery for colon cancer. All went well until I developed pneumonia, sepsis and a massive bed sore. I was hospitalized intubated and on life support for 2 months. I don’t remember much however I do remember some care by Dr Rollandelli as he was my surgeon. Dr Rollandelli was very caring and understood my concerns. I had 2 surgeries done by him. The most recent surgery went well until a week later when I developed pneumonia and sepsis. I was very ill and spent the next 2 months in the ICU. I do not remember very much however it is one year later and I still am suffering leg weakness from the sepsis. I have not followed up with Dr Rollandelli nor has he communicated with me as to follow up care. Thankfully, the colon surgery is successful and functioning well.
Dr Rollandelli was very professional and caring when he diagnosed and did the surgery I needed. However, complications arose afterward that had me hospitalized in the ICU on life support for over 2 months. I developed pneumonia ( legioneers)that they insisted I contacted at home. (After a complete check of our water and plumbing this was ruled out.)I also developed sepsis and a stage 4 bed sore while being treated. Dr Rolandelli and his team were great. Everything he told me would happen before surgery during surgery and after surgery happened. They made my recovery sound like it would be a breeze and it was. All my fears and questions were answered with confidence and hope. Dr Rolandelli and his staff were always professional and attentive
