I have been seeing Dr Kamyar for a little over a year now and consider him a Godsend. I’ve suffered from gastrointestinal issues for a lifetime,Crohn’s disease and Reflux from hiatal hernia. After years of chronic vomiting he got it stopped when no other dr did and just shrugged it off or treated it as a psychological issue. . Dr. Kamyar is the most amazing Doctor that I've seen in the past almost 2 years of trying to diagnose chronic pain and other symptoms that no other doctor was really interested in helping me with. I've been to numerous doctors, even other GI specialists and never received the care that I have received from Dr. Kamyar and his staff. I have seen him for years and he is always kind and caring. He is very thorough and I hope he never retires!
We talked doctor-patient for about an hour. It was one of the best conversations I've ever had with anyone. Dr. Kamyar projected warmth, caring, and confidence the whole time. He did not just screen me for the recommended colonoscopy but took an interest in my total health - heart, diabetes, diet, the whole 360.
Dr. Kamyar has been my Dr. for over 5 years and I will never change to another Dr. as he very good and knowledgeable and explains so I can understand whats going on with me
I have never had a better experience with any gastro in my life until Dr. Kamyar. Completely professional and empathetic. Refused to put me on anymore steroids after looking through my old charts, even explained to me that his sister has UC and that’s the main reason he started in the field. He asked me what I think would be the best course of treatment for a recent flare up and then gave me options to go from there. He’s very caring and does his job so well. I’m so happy to have him as my doc!
Dr. Kamyar is knowledgeable, experienced and I trust him completely with my care. The office support staff are professional and courteous. Although he is constantly running behind schedule, the wait has not been intolerable - usually 15-30 minutes. The most difficult experience is trying to get an appointment - both in terms of reaching someone to schedule and Dr availability. I still rate Dr. Kamyar 5 stars and am, thankful he is my Dr.
Always booked and a long wait because he is that good! I wish he practiced in Colorado!!!
Dr. Kamyar is knowledgeable and thorough, but you may have to wait to see him. The receptionist seldom answers the phone, thus it is best to visit his office.
