We moved my mother in law here in the summer of 2024 after a really horrible experience with another facility. My MIL and our family had the best experience with the staff and Shalom hospice as well. I cried the first time I saw the staff show my MIL so much love. We knew she was well loved, cared for and we didn’t need to worry about her safety. I have been so thrilled with the care of all the staff and professionalism of everyone at Roitenberg. My mother has been joining in the activities and is socializing again with the other residents after having been isolating herself at her previous apartment. The best part is that my mother keeps telling me how happy and safe she is at Roitenberg. I can't praise everyone there enough for the great work they all do and the extra effort they all make.
My mom very much enjoys all that Roitenberg has to offer. She has made new friends, reconnected with life-long friends, enjoys the dining experience, partakes in several activities, loves her apartment and above all else, the caregivers are amazing!
There are 52 apartments and only about 28 or less residents on site. About 15 people go to dinning room every day and food is not good. My mother lost 40 lbs over this last year due to food quality and bullying from another resident causing severe mental distress which was not prevented or addressed. There is very little social acitivites as well and the facility is in decline. New management this past year has revealed many cracks in this facility including a lack of safety.. Beware!!
