I absolutely LOVE the Rogue Birth Center! Megan and Katie are great and helped me along my first pregnancy and birth. It was a long birth but I could not do it without the help of these amazing women. After birth my babe struggled with gaining weight and breastfeeding and they helped me along the way giving me amazing information and resources as well as referring me to a dentist to correct my little ones tongue and lip tie. I really wanted to have a natural birth with the midwives. Unfortunately I had something called preeclampsia, which is a condition that can only be cured by delivering the baby given that is a malfunction of the placenta and the placenta then has to be removed as soon as possible. I went to the midwives complaining about the symptoms but they kept telling me I just needed to exercise and lose weight. My sister pushed for 6 hours at the center prior to being transported to the hospital. They lied to the hospital and said she had pushed for 3. When her water broke at home, it was green and when she called the midwives, they said it was normal and to come in to get checked. They checked her cervix and sent her home. She should have been sent to the hospital immediately for both her and the baby's safety as it was apparent the baby had pooped in her.
