I was here in 2020 but I’m sure this place hasn’t changed in the slightest. I was unlucky enough to have beth as my “therapist” and dr. Tazi as my “psychiatrist.” The completely ignored my needs. They were horrendous. I didn’t answer my phone ONCE and Beth, the joke of a therapist, threatened to call the cops on me. Don’t believe me? I have the email. The facility is nice and staff is very talented.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the programming and staff at Rogers. The work they do is life changing for young adults. If you are reading this - and you are trying to decide between Rogers and Compass - do yourself a favor - and chose Rogers. Compass may look shiner and more put together (speaking from experience) - but they run their facility like a business. Rogers is compassionate and helpful. They are not only treating the child, but also the family and caretakers.
I’ve debated writing this review for over a year now- Rogers in Hinsdale was probably full of some of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. I myself work in healthcare and struggle with contamination OCD. People go there for various reasons. I witnessed the “therapists” make people do these exercises that appeared to be humiliation rituals. It’s as if the staff got off on publicly humiliating people.
