I am rating the store and their great customer service and their ability to fix things promptly! I am not rating the customer service or the robot AI thing on the website or their 1 800 (855) number. The fact that we have retreated in our technology to the point where I have to go back into the store, because I can't use (your wait time is 4 days or your are #100 in the queue) the technology available to me that was there yesterday.
Today my kids and I came into the store to upgrade cell phones and to purchase a new phone for my teenager. We happened to meet , Mike, who works for Apple. Meeting him was the highlight to my sons day as my 13 yr old son is really techy and was very thrilled to meet somebody that works for Apple so he could ask him all kinds of questions! I had an outstanding experience at Rogers thanks to Steve. He went above and beyond to help not only me, but a total of five people in my family get significantly better deals on both mobile and internet plans. What really stood out was his transparency and honesty throughout the entire process. Rogers has hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. It doesn’t matter what issue you are having, no one actually knows what they’re doing or takes responsibility and just bounces you from person to person. Every interaction somehow makes the problem worse instead of fixing it. For a massive telecom company, the level of incompetence is honestly embarrassing.
