In 1964 Roger W. and Lillian Davis opened the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Their goal was to give people the best possible care in their most difficult time of need. In 1985 their son R. Scott Davis joined the business and in 1990 Scott's wife Leichia joined the business. In 1993 Roger Davis died leaving his wife, son and daughter-in-law to follow his dream.They have taken his dream and run with it. Watched who appeared to be the funeral director, exit a loaded hearse leading a funeral procession, in the middle of the road, block traffic, then verbally assault a female driver to the point she was in tears on the side of the road. Then yelled at oncoming traffic. What a lowlife move to stomp all over perhaps the saddest day in those poor people’s lives, only to verbally assault another.
