I have been a patient of Dr Olander for decades. I am blessed with good health, so I cannot speak to his handling of difficult situations, but in my experience he is compassionate, thoughtful, extremely intelligent, thorough, a good listener and an excellent doctor.
I have been a patient for approx. 46 years. I am now 70 years old. Went for my annual today. Everyone was pleasant and informative. Dr. Olander was pleasant, professional and very caring as usual. I would recommend him highly.
I am a physician myself. Dr. Olander is wonderful. He is extremely kind and very competent. His office is just himself and two staff people. He's always been on time for my appointments. It's a lovely small, independent practice and they have been very helpful through both routine preventative and more urgent matter care.
What happened to all the other reviews? I can't believe this man is even a doctor. He specialized in abortions. No I'm not against it entirely, however the way he has treated me is disgusting and I'm sure and good review was paid for or is associated with this so called doctor. I warn you now do not ever go to this doctor. I guarantee you will regret it and will remember this review. It all starts with the woman at the front desk who also answers phone. Compassion used to be Dr. Olanders best trait, but it appears something has changed. Treatment is now based his wants, not what the patient has actually said. He does not keep up to date on treatments available for conditions he claims to be experienced in treating. Many of his treatment options have been scientifically disproven decades ago. Dr. Olander is the most caring doctor that I have ever had. He is thoughtful and kind and so are all his employees. He listens and asks questions and makes you feel like you are special. I travel over an hour to see him at his office because he is such a fantastic doctor.
