Horrible doctor. My a1c had risen over the years with him to 9.3 so I changed doctors. My new endocrinologist totally changed my treatment plan. My new a1c is 6.8 and I have no trouble controlling my diabetes. He acts like he cares but he doesn't. My recommendation is to avoid this doctor.
Seem Dr Smith for a few years. Doesn't take time to discuss symptoms. Labs look good and your good to go. I reached out to him about 6 months ago with problems. Even had another doctor in the mercy Healthcare system tell me to contact him due to extremely elevated thyroid antibody levels. He said that just confirms your hoshimotos. Maybe if he would have taken a little time to investigate rather than letting me suffer daily for 6 months, he would have found what my new doctor found in 1 day. Today was my first appointment with Dr. Smith. Easy to talk to, explained our course of treatment and the goals we are looking for. I am glad he is my doctor.
