Misdiagnosed my husband. He had rectal bleeding and constant and frequent runny bowel movements. All he did was say the bleeding was hemorrhoids (without doing a rectal exam). And the constant and frequent bowel movements was more than likely excessive acid and prescribed him famotidine. They did send him for an Ultrasound of his gallbladder (that came back as sludgy gallbladder). They then referred him to a general surgeon to potentially get his gallbladder removed.
