Ugliest Wedding Cake Ever! – I used this bakery for my wedding and it was the worst experience EVER! I ordered 2 dozen pink cupcakes to go on a tier for the grooms cake at our rehearsal dinner and what I got was 24 cupcakes with pink frosting smeared on the top with a butter knife. You could see the chunks of cake mixed in with the frosting! It looked like I made them myself. Cream Horn Heaven! Way better than a grocery store! In the downtown shopping area of Alexandria, Roers Family Bakery is a delight. I tried a cream horn as a snack and was impressed. The cream, which they tell me is a secret recipe, is to die for! The cream horns are big so make sure you're hungry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm from Michigan and when I got home, I couldn't stop raving about these horns. I called the store up and they were able to ship a box to me. Talk about a great present.
