Brought my dog in on a Friday. Was given two options of a X-ray and/or blood work by Dr. Hager. Did both, and she thought he could potentially have a blockage. Sent us home with medicine and to bring him back in the morning for another xray. If nothing was moved, he would likely need surgery. His temperate was at 98 which was dangerously low and he was so weak. As I'm writing this I am very emotional. Had appt today at 8:45am to put our 17 yr old schnauzer down. It was time. Was not called back till 9:20. I guess procedures have changed since we put our last dog down. Was told they had to put in IV in & took him away for that. Brought him back & he was so scared & anxious. Waited & waited trying to calm him. Vet comes in. Puts sedative in IV. All the while our poor dog was so stressed out it was horrible. He let out a heartbreaking scream. I can't say enough good about this place. Everyone is so kind, they don't pressure you into doing all the expensive extra things most vets do, and they are very knowledgeable. I recommend them to everyone.
