Went for a used tire. The guy I spoke with told me he wouldn’t balance it because they only balance used tires, which is ridiculous, but I let it go because he gave me such a great price for the tire. After I paid, I noticed the sold me a directional tire and mounted it inside out. I asked him to correct it and was told it didn’t matter because the tire was used and the orientation had no effect and proceeded to tell me why, not realizing I’m an ASE certified technician.
