Think twice before getting your 20 week ultrasound with a “super” specialist affiliated with a large hospital. This doctor barely spent 5 minutes with me. Most of the work was done by an ultrasound technician only to be told afterwards by doc that everything in the scans appeared perfectly fine and ideal with the baby. I paid $120 at the door and then received a bill in the mail for $557 more after insurance coverage. (I have Blue Cross PPO...pretty much the gold standard in insurance plans.)
