Very knowledgeable, takes time to explain, professional and personable.
Seems to be more interested in things other than what I'm concerned about. Rather abrupt, dark humor, at least with me. Many things are short and aged related with little to no remedy
Dr. Ellis has managed my care for 10 yrs. He is very knowledgeable and patient with me as I don't always listen to his recommendations. I became a patient after moving to the area and being diagnosed with Type 1.5 Diabetes and Hypertension. He teamed up with an Endocrinologist in the area and placed me on a regiment of medications (5 pills a day and 5 injections a day). Dr. Ellis is a wonderful primary care physician. I have been coming to his office for over 5 years and the one thing that keeps me coming back is that I feel he and his staff generally care about my well-being. I'm grateful for his expertise and 100% comfortable with his treatment. Everyone should have a primary care physician like Dr. Ellis.
I have been a patient of Dr. Ellis for 27 years. It is comfort going to a knowledgeable professional that has a true interest in helping you to get healthy or/and stay healthy, and with a excellent bedside manner! I highly recommend him.
I can not say enough about Dr. Ellis and Helen Beard the Practice Director. I have tried losing weight for the last10 years and nothing worked. I came to Dr. Ellis in February 2019 and with his sincere caring and graceful manner along with Helen's positive and happy nature, I have lost over 40 pounds and brought my insulin from 9.8 to 7.2. I recommend him all the time! I've honestly never had a doctor with a cohesive, efficient front office staff. I wouldn't let the issues there keep you from good health care. He doesn't forget and still surprises me when asking about my past health concerns. He gives me honest assessments on my state of being and stern medical advice that feels like it's coming from my dad! Being able to do that shows that he cares.
