Absolutely do not go through Fred Loya!!! We have experienced the worst customer service in every aspect and don’t expect them to handle your claim you’re not at fault for properly. I (single mother to 3 little ones) was involved in a incident on a Sunday while attending a sporting event out of town where we had a tire come off a 18 wheeler that was ahead of us, and come flying at us which caused damaged to the front end of our car, we attempted to contact every number listed on the insurance card as well as all 1-800 number... read more

I was rear-ended in July by a driver insured with Fred Loya, and it’s now mid October — I’m still waiting for reimbursement for my rental car expenses. I’ve had to pay nearly $3,000 out of pocket. Throughout this entire process, nobody at this company has followed up, returned my calls, or responded to emails about the reimbursement checks. Their customer service is absolutely unacceptable. It was great in the beginning but beware if you are late with your payment they hike your insurance up by 20 dollars and do not tell you. They say “that’s just a late fee” and then you have the correct exact amount in the bank for your insurance, thinking it’s going to be the 97.37 for the next draft and they try to pull 117 after you were told it’s a late fee.
