This hotel is affiliated with the timeshare company Bluegreen. The "Ascend Collection" is nothing more than a group of hotels with supposedly superior quality and value. The affiliation between the group and Bluegreen is simple, both cash in but if you have any issues they refer you back to Bluegreen and then Bluegreen does nothing! Sweet for them! Choice Hotels was offering a promotion for stay two nights and get a $50 gift card. I had issues claiming my gift card due to the way the promotion was set up, but Twitter customer support agents quickly resolved this issue for me. I had stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in Casper, WY and the Sleep Inn in Colby, KS. Each hotel had one minor housekeeping issue that I alerted to both hotel staff and Twitter customer support. Warning to guests of Choice Hotels Econolodge in Manchester, Vermont. This hotel is not to be trusted. I stayed at this hotel from 1/23 to 1/27 in January 2019 and the hotel charged my credit card for the entire stay two times in the same exact amounts on two separate days. They refuse to credit my charge card for the 2nd duplicate charge. The Front Desk Agent at a Choice Hotel Econolodge located at 2501 S Service Rd in West Memphis, AR cursed me after I complained that the hotel was continuously double billing my credit card and placing phantom charges and inflated charges on my credit card. She told me to stop 'F'ing' talking to her. I was shocked. I stayed at the Econolodge Hotel at 2501 S Service Rd, West Memphis, AR and throughout my stay I had phantom charges placed on my credit card by the hotel and inflated charges. Everytime I brought my concerns to the Front Desk they claimed ignorance and said they didn't know why I was being double billed or the charges were inflated. I reserved two rooms 3 months in advance. A hurricane went through the area I had planned on visiting in October 2018 and I received an email from Choice Hotels informing me that the hotel would not be operational in time for my planned visit. I have contacted customer service and they still have not issued a refund of my payment. They also do not follow up when contacted via email. Where do I even start. My hotel room had bedbugs and was filthy. I took the bugs to the front desk and was moved to a new room that still had evidence of bedbugs. It was Indy 500 race weekend so I contacted Choice Hotels corporate and was given an incident report confirmation number and was told I would receive the compensation I had asked for and to call back later to get the credit. Suburban extended stay in South Carolina is infested with cockroaches and I complained and they just send u to different room and of course they r still there in other rooms I was put in 4 different rooms my week of stay and they they say they were giving me 2 nights free and they never gave them too me .

I have worked and been a guest in multiple hotel chains all over the world. This is by far the worst hotel chain. I would never recommend using any of their shady properties. They are unable to address any complaints or issues. I would 100% advise all party blocks (weddings/reunions) to especially stay away from this hotel chain. They cannot assist with anything related to any of their properties.
