Made a reservation with hotels.com on December 30, 2023, for this hotel. It was for 2 nights in preparation for the solar eclipse. When we got there, we were informed by the manager that he personally had cancelled our reservation with hotels.com because we had not prepaid, and he could not guarantee a second night because he was booked up for the special event. This company is a sham, I would have given it 0 stars if able. Booked a reservation on their website and it clearly stated that the reservation was able to be canceled. I was charged for the stay when it was booked. I cancelled the reservation 5 days before the date of the reservation and after 17 days, 3 calls to customer service I have not received my money back from their company. I wouldn’t stay at any of their motels or hotels. They pretend that they want to help yet they give you the run around. I stay at one of their motels from June 20-22 check out, got charged, even have a confirmation number. Than the response I received I was a no show which isn’t true and wasn’t charged. I have my banking statement, photos of this dump. Complain all you want and it doesn’t matter they don’t care. Do yourself a favor don’t book with them and run

If you give them 90$ and cancel your reservation then they will only give you about 50$ worth of points and say they are not charging or penalizing you. Contact your bank and report the charges as fraud.

I would have rated this hotel a zero if this category existed. I stayed at the EconoLodge located at 8700 S Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando Florida 32809. I was attending the Camping World Bowl on December 28, 2019. This place is located in a seedy part of town with prostitutes lurking on the property. I saw a prostitute servicing a client on the back of the property. This place is filthy starting with the door entrance carpet. ChoiceHotels.com advertises a best price guarantee. They do not honor this guarantee. I was able to find a cheaper booking for the same hotel at the same date via Agoda.com. After several emails back and forth, and several days later they replied saying that they can not find the same price on Agoda anymore! No kidding. Clearly if you wait an extra week till the prices go up, the rate will be higer. I emailed them proof of the lower price booking and they stopped replying to the email! What a fraud organization.

If possible, I would rate the company ZERO stars. Awful company, one of their hotels was infested with bed buds, they would only refund for the nights not stayed yet. The customer service from the hotel and parent company are not in the business of serving their customers. Additionally, the attitudes from the hotel manager was very disrespectful and inconsiderate of the situation.

I made an online reservation with this company for a hotel stay. A few weeks later I needed to change the reservation dates. I called the reservation phone number, and spoke to a representative about the date changes. I was told I would receive a new confirmation email with my new dates. Instead I received an email welcoming me to the Choice Privileges Reward Program. At no time during my conversation with the representative did we discuss, and/or did I ask to join this program. PLEASE NOTE: THIS BUSINESS IS LISTED MULTIPLR TIMES ON BBB. THEIR OTHER CORPORATE PAGE HAS 1000S OF COMPLAINTS AND REVIEWS AND AN F RATING FROM BBB.
