This is one of the few genuine rescues out there. RCER actually rehabs these horses, it doesn't just lot them and list them for adoption. They are well fed, their hooves cared for, teeth floated (if needed), wormed, etc. BEFORE they are ready for adoption! This is a truly wonderful group!
We got our sweet mare Hassey from this wonderful organization 7 years ago. She was at the end of her life and we were able to give her a 6-year "retirement" to live out her days worry-free and in comfort. She was loved by all and passed away peaceful surrounded by people who loved her.
Best rescue ever, great people who care. We now have 4 of their rescues. Love them!
Rodeo City Equine is amazing. They stepped up to help us when our boarder lost water and power at the beginning of winter and we suddenly had five horses to find situations for. Not only did they take our 3 yr. gelding, Cheerio, but they also found him a brand new forever home. Cheerio was rescued by us on the day he was scheduled to ship with a kill buyer and to see how far he has come now is so fulfilling and heartwarming. Thank you RCE and congratulations to Cheerio on his new home. <3
I have been very happy with my interactions with everyone I interacted with at RCER. The horses were all healthy and well cared for. I felt I got very good and thorough information about each horse we looked at (the good and the bad) so we were able to make an informed decision. We adopted a wonderful gelding through them, and they even hauled him to my place. Very pleased with the entire experience!
This group is exemplary of what all horse rescues should be like. I adopted my Chance through them. They rehab horses & re-home them. I will support this group always. Thank you for what you do for the horses.
