Waiting for over an hour in the lobby is uncalled for. If you can't keep up then maybe stop taking so many patients?
Unpleasant, rude and didn’t care for his attitude. Plus, I arrived early for my appointment and a routine visit took 2 hours which made it worse. You would think with as long as it took he would’ve been much nicer. I won’t be returning!
Unbelievably condescending. Tried to push me into going into the ER for my optic nerve issues to have imaging and a lumbar puncture done even though all the testing done in the office that day showed no change in my vision. When I told him that day- for the second time- that I couldn’t sit in the ER for endless hours due to having twins at home and childcare issues and needed something scheduled he spoke very sharply to my wife and told her that Washington University has a neuro-ophthalmologist and I should just go there and... read more
Dr. Frankel misdiagnosed an allergic reaction, told me to discontinue medication prescribed by a gastroenterologist (despite being an ophthalmologist himself), and told me that I do not require contact lenses without performing an eye exam. Aside from that, he was extremely condescending and rude. I went to see Dr. Frankel after experiencing an allergic reaction to the cyanoacrylates in the glue used for eyelash extensions.
