The best mechanic in San Rafael. Not much else to say. Except that he is completely trustworthy and gets the job done. Even on old rust buckets like my truck.

Carlos is a legend — not only did he take care of replacing my axle seal, but was honest and direct about what needed work and what I would have been upsold on had I stuck with another mechanic. Straight shooter, efficient and quick! He is *the guy* for car troubles.
Carlos was Super kind, honest and helpful. We sadly didn’t even get work done Because of our scheduling (heading out of town), but he kindly consulted and gave us an accurate explanation of the brake problem we were having. Would love to come back and get work done the next time we have a problem!
Trustworthy affordable and reliable auto shop. I live in Oakland and drive to take my car here because my husband and I have had a hard time finding a mechanic we trust. Would highly recommend!
