RDC is much more than a rustic resort, we are a family camp steeped in over 100 years of tradition bringing families and friends together in the natural beauty of the lakes region of New Hampshire. We have exquisite scenery made up of vintage cottages nestled along the shores of Squam Lake, one of New England's most pristine lakes, and the southern edge of New Hampshire's White Mountains.

This is not your typical resort. Put your phones and iPads away as service can be spotty anyways. The idea is to completely disconnect. Read a book or play board games with family. Wake up early or sleep in. Stay up late with a fire or go to bed early. Go on a hike or play tennis or pickleball. Sit on your dock or go for a boat ride. It’s not for everyone but the people who get it come back every year for generations.
This place is a MASSIVE RIP OFF!!! For far less you can rent a furnished house on the lake, a ski boat, and eat lobster every night. You are FAR FAR FAR better off spending your money on a week of things that your family actually wants to do than a week here!!!
Over priced for what you get. No to spotty internet so plan accordingly. Obvious that the owners are NOT investing in the place.
Beautiful location. The dining situation spoils an otherwise great place.
