We love the food, but, why does the owner/son have to be so rude to customers? Seriously, drop the attitude, be more inviting. We want to come back, we LOVE the food, but walking in and being addressed like we're an intrusion doesn't make us feel welcome, and we live four blocks away. The food is SUPERB, but the personalities of those who run the place have driven us away and we now drive ten minutes to get halfway decent Italian, when we could just walk to a great place....but, again, we don't want to be treated like rude i... read more
It’s been a few years but the review is warranted. I ordered a pizza for pickup during Covid times. This establishment had the audacity to charge a $5 surcharge as a “covid fee” without telling you beforehand when you place the order over phone or online (I placed the order over the phone). The end result is this review. If you have the ability to price gouge your customers, you have time to receive this review.
The gentleman who served us was very nice. The food was absolutely horrible. I believe it was the owner who came over to ask me if I was going to watch my boyfriend eat. I said no, I am done eating. My cavatelli was watery & the red sauce had a sour acidity to it. The salad wasn't fresh. Pictured is the take home salad that paired my boyfriend's lasagna for reference.
