We hired Rocky Mountain Overseas to ship our belongings from Colorado to New Zealand. We also purchased insurance to protect our belongings. We just found out that they went out of business and did not pay the insurance company or the freight company. So we now have to pay the freight company again to get our belongings and paid for insurance we did not receive. NO STARS. This is NOT a legit company. If you have family or moving things you want to see again do NOT use them. They will talk with you until they get your money then they will abandon you and your belongings where every they can. We had been in contact with them about everything and they gave excuse after excuse why it had been in Port for 3 months. This company is an abject failure. They made promise after promise to deliver my goods from Colorado to the Dominican republic and I ended up having to pay everything to release my container. I don’t know what the rate that I paid them covered other than packing of my belongings and placing them in a container. Additionally the staff is completely incompetent, lies repeatedly. This is been the worst service I have ever received in my life

Move was handled well, maybe a few things broken, nothing more than expected for a long move, though some expensive stuff was damaged. Customs complained and delayed delivery for weeks because they didn't label the boxes well and it hand to be inspected manually. Delivery took - wait for it - 5 months. One large item didn't make it to me, was documented into destination but did not make it onto the truck. If I could could give zero stars, I would. PLEASE don't overlook the bad reviews that people wrote on this company. I saw the bad reviews and even talked to Ainslie's wife, Darlene, about the bad reviews. She was nice and tried to reassure me that those negative reviews were not what they seemed.
