After today I will probably be requesting a new person to see other than Justin rogers. He does not listen to me but I was giving him a second chance. But after today no more chances. He refused to send portneuf medical iv therapy nurses an order just to see what my blood sugar was at. My insulin pump was reading just HIGH and they were worried about me. Huge victory win today!! Every 6 months to a year my daughter has to get routine blood work to check her levels. Each time it take 6+ people to hold her down with her screaming and begging us to stop. In short words IT SUCKS! For her, for me, and for everyone involved. Today the phlebotomist spent most of the appointment time talking to her, explaining, showing her how it looks, what veins feel like. Mostly he took time until he asked for the consent to touch her.
