I really feel sorry for these people, do some research before chosing this facility.
My mom has been in the RMAL system since 09/2020. She was declining extremely fast with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Once we put her in RMAL she leveled off and is in a slow decline for now. The consistent care that she gets along with social interactions with the care givers and other residents, I believe is contributing to her overall wellbeing. I visit mom about once a week. My mom has been at RMAL Newland for 2 1/2 yrs. I am very pleased with the facility and my mother is doing well there. Plenty of room to move around in the common area, the bedrooms are homey and everything is kept very clean. The activities director is engaging and many residents will participate in games, painting, the women love having their nails polished. My mom's care is very good, the staff is attentive and caring. Would highly recommend!
This is going to be a long post because I want people to know what could happen to their loved ones. What to say, I gave it a two because my family member thought it was clean and willing to live at this site The day of move in the room was not cleaned, I asked a staff to clean it before I moved my family members things in the new space.
