I have been coming to this office (even though I live an hour away) for years. The staff are competent, kind, and knowledgeable in all aspects of dental care. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone seeking quality dental care.
I’ve always dreaded getting dental work done but since our move to the Bay Area and committed to Dr. Koida’s care, I’m very happy with all of the services I’ve received here. The staff is friendly and professional. Tonie is my usual hygienist (superb!). We have a great rapport. I’ve had fillings done by Dr. Yu, who was very patient with my crankiness. I also appreciate Dr. Koida’s check-ins after all my visits. Michelle and Sandy are also amazing. I highly recommend it.

Best dental office ever!!! When my dentist sold his practice I was stressing trying to find a new dentist and I could not be more grateful that Rockridge Dental was recommended to me by a friend! They are not only excellent on every aspect regarding care and service, but also some of the kindest most welcoming people I have ever experienced in a medical/dental situation. I always recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist!
I was referred to Rockridge Dental Studio after my previous Oakland practice was sold to a local chain with awful service. And what a good choice I made! Dr. Koida is perhaps the most thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable dentist I've ever seen.
