I live in Virginia and I have been collecting coins for 50 years. I stop by coin shops when I travel to have something to do. I was in the Sacramento region in March and bought some "slabbed" coins from this dealer. I checked the price on them. The prices offered by Rocklin Coin Shop were both fair and reasonable. I will go again when back in the region.
Walked in. Customer there was already complaining about not getting a fair price. Then the person behind the counter low-balls me $2.00 per coin on melt price. Nice...real nice.
First let me say that I almost never do social media reviews. Who has that kind of time? But from time to time I make an exception because I'm so impressed by a business. I have done business with Chad at Rocklin Coin Shop for over 10 years. In every communication and transaction, Chad has shown exceptional integrity. I rarely see this level of service and just plain caring for customers. Chad, you've earned my trust and my business 10 times over!
The shop is run by a thief. Do not trust him. Matthew Vickers is a dangerous man to do business with. He's also racist and generally has food in his teeth.
