very cool store with great selection and helpful staff
Mounting screws made of the softest Chinese steal available almost every single one heads snapped off or stripped out. Last set I bought a few years ago worked well must have went with cheaper Chinese hardware recently.
Visited here today for the first time, and had a real pleasant experience. I wanted to do a small project, and the employee there (I wish I got his name!) he talked me through everything and advised me on how to go about doing it and the best type of wood. He must of spent 30 minutes helping my boyfriend and I, he was so patient and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back here in the future for any woodworking needs I have. Clean, well stocked, and employers that you can tell genuinely enjoy their job.
I can’t recommend this Rockler location enough. The entire shop is clearly designed to help people,whether you’re a pro or just getting into the hobby. The customer service here is top-tier across the board. A huge shoutout to Terry, who has been an incredible resource for me. He is consistently kind, patient, and takes the time to explain things thoroughly so I actually learn. Very disappointed. Travelled 35 min one way to have no selection of what I was looking for. Salesman said I should have checked the inventory of the store first on line! He could order what I wanted. Amazon to the rescue. Didn’t want to use by the way. (1x42 combo sander) Had money In pocket.
