This 12 step recovery house opened its doors to me with a very calming and healing environment. The manager keeps everyone accountable and cares a great deal about furthering our recovery and learning a new life. Happy,Healthy and Free of addiction. I lived at Rockland recovery for 10 months. I had nothing but help and support from all management there. The current manager and I still remain close friends after leaving almost two years ago. He encourages everyone who comes there. He only wants the best for anyone. If you're not putting in your full effort he is the first to let you know. 449 is a very special place to me I first came here almost 2 years ago was very scared and didn’t know what to expect and couldn’t wait to go back to what I knew. The house manager Steve made me feel very welcomed and showed me how good and fun life can be in recovery. If you are on MATs DO NOT GO HERE! The manager will harass you until you leave or are kicked out. The program itself will say they are fine with anyone on meds like Suboxone or Methadone etc. But the manager at this Rockland location is bias and will make sure you don't last long.
