Our son and daughter were proud members of the RCM family for a combined seventeen years and thoroughly enjoyed that part of their lives! Our son started at RCM's Suzuki Violin program just as he turned five. Neither of his parents were musically inclined, so it was up to his early RCM teachers to encouraged his budding enthusiasm, and introduce technique and methods for him to find his way music. He continued at RCM beyond Suzuki, into individual lessons and orchestra membership in his teens. I have been associated with Rockland Conservatory Of Music for over 20 years as a teacher who taught there and as a parent whose child attended lessons. Started by Ed and Janet Simons this school is rich in tradition and has become a staple in the community. From pre-schoolers to senior citizens, regardless of music background (or, in my case, talent) all are welcome and anyone can and will benefit from music instruction, both instrumental and vocal. The warm and welcoming environment is matched only by the world class professionals who teach all levels of learners. My son has been taking piano lessons here for years, and we love it! The teachers are patient, talented, and truly care about their students. Highly recommend!
