I started violin lessons at RCM when I was five, with Karin. Karin truly fostered my love for violin, helping me develop my technique and musicality while also keeping things super fun and engaging. Nearly 20 years later, I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in music and am now teaching here myself. RCM’s program is one founded in compassion, kindness, and excellence, with some of the most exceptional musicians in New York. This is truly one of Rockland county’s greatest gems.
We’ve had an excellent experience with piano lessons at Rockland Music Conservatory so far this school year. The building is clean and bright. The faculty and administrative staff is kind and helpful!
Grew up at Rockland Conservatory! Studied with the great Jan Deats who taught me so much about musicianship, performance, and life! The staff is always so encouraging and inspiring :) With the foundation I had at RCM, I have gone on to win competitions, play at major NYC venues, release my own music, and even teach my own students. Best wishes to the next generation!
Our 9 year old daughter just started taking drums 6 months ago. We waited a while to get a set of drums because we wanted to see how she liked it. Grandma got her a good used set for Xmas and she LOVES IT! Thank you Mr. Mike….you ROCK!!
