Charged me 8 hours labour, $1254 ($156.75 per hour), to change a clutch out on a nissan patrol and was a rush job with insulation left out from under the car body and a wire cut under the dash for some reason. 3 hours is more than enough time for this job! I supplied the new clutch which cost me less than his labour. Vaughan was sheepish when he hit me with the bill and tried to avoid giving me the invoice. Just another dodgy mechanic that I would never go back to! Hard to find honest mechanics these days!
Booked a service a week in advance. Arrived and was told he couldn't do it because there's another car on the hoist, come back tomorrow. 2 hour round trip for me. That is crazy. It's not really enough to just say my bad. If you book in a service, you need to remember it and call them if there's an issue. Expensive waste of time for me and time to find another mechanic.
Vaughn runs an excellent service, he is very kind and offers a great price.
