Rocking R Bar Exploded – A gas leak caused an explosion, destoying the famous Rocking R Bar. All that remains is a pile of rubble where the muffin tops used to dance.
So long, Rockin' R the Rocking R Bar was significantly damaged in the gas explosion which destroyed boodles restaurant in March 2009. It is now closed. For a similar scene check out mixers, or if you want to stay downtown, the Eagles.
One of the best bars in Montana for good beer and fun with friends. This is a classy historic place. Go there at different times of the day to experience the change in atmosphere. I didn't know that the pickle barrel is connected now. I guess I better get back there and check it out.
fun bar If your ever in Bozeman Montana, go to the infamous R bar. It has been a college hang out more than 30 to 40 years and this hasn't changed a bit. The bar tenders are fun and friendly and it is a great place to go before a game. Oh and don't forget to purchase one of their R bar hats.
