You pay a lot for nice trees. Highly expensive for what is offered. I'm not sure what demographic they are targeting. Definitely not for anyone who has any handicaps (my parents and in-laws are frequent RVrs). The "public" bathrooms and showers are a joke. My small teenage son felt cramped and the water pressure was low. The trail is nice but very short overall. The owner lady came off presuming the worst and seemed controlling from the start . We stayed five nights at this campground while exploring the area. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and in a beautiful spot. We stayed in site 22 with a 31 foot toy hauler. It was perfect!
Definitely one of the best campgrounds we've chosen to stay at. We arrived early for check in, and the owner was so helpful and let us park our camper on overflow so we wouldn't miss Donkey Derby Days. He was extremely friendly and really helpes us feel welcomed. Campground is beautifully tucked up into the trees, clean and well maintained. We would absolutely recommend this spot.
This is an EXCELLENT campground!!! Clean, well maintained, and very friendly owners. It is a beautiful on the backside of Pikes Peak with so many activities in the area! Sites are level so setup is quick and easy!! Thank you for such a great Rocky Mountain experience!!!
