Our family stayed at the Rocking CR Ranch Guesthouse during winter break. The house is very clean, cozy and peaceful, and it's just a short drive to Sisters and Bend. A great place to explore Central Oregon. Caroline and Doug were very kind and helpful. They even let us plug in our EV. We look forward to coming back!
I can't say enough about the Rocking CR Ranch the property is beautiful and the scenery is breathtakingly gorgeous and the guest house was a dream I really loved my stay there can't wait to come back again and stay there again...Mr. and Mrs. Matz are wonderful hosts and are very friendly I enjoyed the few times we would chat with each other really make you feel at home. All I can say is, "wow." My boyfriend and I stayed in the Tumalo guesthouse for three months this summer and it was perfect. We only left a few days ago and I already miss it. What a magical place. First and foremost, the location is perfect. The house is in the most tranquil and beautiful setting but it's just a short ride to Bend and to Sisters on either side. I come to Bend every few months to visit my parents and have rented quite a few places in the area. This place is by far my favorite. When my parents and I pulled into the property, our hosts were there to greet us. We instantly felt at home. The peace I felt here as I sat on the patio gazing at the mountains and listening to the aspen quake soothed my soul like nothing has in a long time. They say nothing in life is perfect, but this place sure does come close.
We stayed at Caroline and Dougs rental in Tumalo and the stay was so awesome that it felt like we were family. We brought our dear dog Benny for our son and the two beds and bath were perfect and the space outside was very peaceful and relaxing. Doug and Caroline were so informative of the local venues and the nearby park. We even borrowed their floats to try the river.
