Really a lot of fun... what made this experience was the staff. They were awesome! Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and they took time to explain everything. If you're looking to do something of the beaten path, i highly recommend this!
🤯This place was awesome!!! You got gems for the right price and when you found a geode, they would personally cut it open for you. The guide explained all of the rocks to me and my boys and he told me all about them and what they were made from. One of my sons found a least 10 sapphire/rubies. Everyone was so nice and they had an awesome shop. We also found fossilized tumbleweed and obsidian arrowheads. 🤩🤩🤩 My other son also found a very rare rock called an Ocean Jasper
We have been to a lot gem mining places over the years and this one by far was the best! Wayne was very helpful and super knowledgeable explaining all the stones that were collected. It was a very personable experience and will definitely come again.
If you want a gem mining experience with a more personal touch, come here! Wayne deserves all the praise! He was super sweet and incredibly knowledgeable about all the gems we found. He's also quite the storyteller! The buckets had a variety of gems, many that I had never heard of. The calligraphy stone and the desert rose were our new favorites! Thank you for the fun afternoon!
