I went to the Rockhampton hospital for an emergency with my medication and was treated worse than garbage. They then posted online saying that what I was going through is not an emergency and to stay away. I have to ask what exactly is considered an emergency here? Do I have to be on my death bed to be treated with respect? Honestly this makes me never want to go to a hospital again and makes me feel isolated in this community.

Broken collar bone, live over 100ks away, was told to be there Saturday and Sunday for surgery, turned away with days, with no further help on another surgery date or a referral to a private clinic, also gave a blank prescription with no details of patient, doctor or medication. Absolutely disgraceful

Bad hospital in 2020 I was drugged with out concent in the emergency department? I still remember it to this day ? I wish I went to the police and made a formal complaint.. should of had a blood test to see what was put into my system to nock me out then when i came too the doctor quickly said your ok to go but I was still in pain nothing changed i drove home to yeppoon .. ? I lived with the pain for 2 years before I was diagnosed? Twisted hernia by a GP in Brisbane !!!!!

We couldn't have asked for anything better from this hospital. From the Specialised staff, Doctors, Nurses and Wardens. Surgical ward, Thank you so much for making a horrible time for my Mum that little easier.
