My wife bought a new ebike at Rockford bike shop, we got out west AZ for our winter stay, and had an issue with the bike, a warranty issue, those things happen new or otherwise and George the owner really stepped up and helped us out from over 2000 miles away. It’s a long story but THANK YOU George, the Rockford Bike Shop,,,,,, the only place to buy a bike!!!!

I never thought to take my bicycle into a bar to have it serviced. Before even stepping foot in this shop the door opens and two middle aged white guys are walking out with beers spilling. I tried to talk to the service staff and I couldn't get close enough as they were surrounded by several guys sitting in chairs holding microbrews. I'm glad they have found other income streams but I think the focus on serving alcoholic beverages to the locals may negatively effect their service and overall customer experience. Love this LBS! I did not buy one of their bikes a few years ago when I started riding daily (for reference I ride a Propain Hugene cf2)but they have been so great with helping keep it serviced and running in top shape(with my brakes, suspension rebuild, rims, hubs, 2 spokes, BB, etc.) fair prices and Bob is the best suspension tech in GR.
I was impressed with the fast service. Other shops we're scheduling 2 weeks away. I could not complete the repair myself and these folks handled it quickly. I expect that in Childsdale they will draw most customers from Rockford like their namesake but also from Plainfield township or the North end of Grand Rapids.
