2nd Visit not as Great and First...but will be back – My husband and I first visited on a Friday night about a month ago and were sat at a small booth in the bar area. At first we were hesitant about the location but were soon in love. Our server was also one of the 2 bartenders working that night. She was great! She had an amazing smile and was on top of her game. She really took car of us, our drinks were never empty, our order was taken in a timely manner and she was personable. She tended to 2 other tables and a full bar... read more
terrible service – We had a small group come in for dinner and the service was terrible. (The restaurant was less than half full.) The waitress brought drinks out at different times and even forgot a few people. The food took forever to come out. It was just ok. People were ordering drinks and it would take a good ten minutes or more to get there. The only time the water was refilled was when it was spilled. The birthday girl ordered dessert and it took over 30 minutes to come out. When it came time to take the checks, the w... read more
Ok food; horrible service!! – The service was slow and server had a bad attitude.. This was my third time there and my seconf horrible experience...We were 5 and 3 of our orders were incorrect... The service was so bad that we had to almost beg for our drink refills..
I was saddened by our experience last night. Our food was alright. Nothing special except for the jalepeno fritters. THOSE WERE FANTASTIC! Everything else seemed just ok. Those of us who had fried fish enjoyed it. Coleslaw was the worst I have ever eaten. Kids pizza was microwaved and too hard for the kids to eat. The service was ok at best. It wasn't terrible, but it seemed to take forever for drinks and dessert. The rest of the restaurant was pretty slow. Probably won't return.
Without a doubt the friendliest staff around – I love this place. The staff is warm and funny, the food is great, prices are very competitive and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Plus they run the best drink specials! Blackberry Margarita anyone!?!?!?
Nice change – Our first trip was very good. Prices were good for what was ordered. Will go back again
I prefer this location – Its on a good part of 1960, the view from the side of the restaurant is cool The food is fine. The staff is attentive and friendly. I prefer this one over the woodlands location.(read my review on that one as well!)
Trash!!! – I was so disappointed in going to this place especially after passing up Cheesecake Factory and all the other good places in Southpoint. I got a steak and it was dry and terrible. My girlfriend got seafood pasta and she said it was terrible. So the food plus the terribly slow service made it a bad experience. I would suggest going the opposite direction if you see it.
Great food, great music! – We were there this past Saturday night really enjoyed the live music on the patio! I can't remember the last time I have had soft shell crab, but it was a welcome surprise(I think it was the special, so if might not be on the menu?). I nice to see a casual, fun place at Southpoint to enjoy!
